Update on council services on day of HM The Queen's funeral

Council services will be affected by the bank holiday on Monday 19 September to mark the state funeral of HM The Queen.
Regular bin collections, home and residential social care will continue on Monday, and scheduled burials and cremations will take place.
However, council buildings, schools and nurseries will be closed. Full services will resume on Tuesday 20 September.
Emergency road repairs will be carried out on Monday, along with emergency repairs to council homes.
The emergency homelessness service will also be in operation, and there will be limited Sheltered Housing and Caretaking Services.
Emergency social work services will also be provided on Monday.
All South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture facilities will be closed on Monday with the exception of essential vaccination and foodbank services.
