Local groups get funds from Hamilton Area Committee

The latest round of community grants from the Hamilton Area Committee has been agreed by the council.
A total of £2,949 in funding was agreed to be split between 10 organisations across the area.
The money will support a diverse range of local organisations and be put to good use in a variety of ways.
Members of the committee agreed the following grant awards:
- St Andrew’s Church Blantyre – £350 for an outing and entrance fees.
- Hillhouse Parish Church Men’s Club, Hamilton – £200 for entrance fees.
- Members of Scotland’s Autism Informed Community (MOSAIC), Hamilton – £300 for start-up costs and materials.
- Larkhall Heritage Group – £249 for an outing and entrance fees.
- Hamilton South Guilds Together – £300 for an outing.
- Strutherhill Lunch and Social Club – £300 for an outing.
- Larkhall Burns Club - £350 for an outing and entrance fees.
- Hamilton Bowling Club - £300 for an outing.
- Hamilton Bowling Club (Ladies Section) - £300 for an outing and entrance fees.
- Avondale Heather Curling Club, Hamilton - £300 for administration and publicity costs.
