South Lanarkshire Council is taking part in a national exercise to beat fraud.
Every two years the council must take part in a data matching exercise to help prevent and detect fraud.
This year’s exercise starts in September 2024 when particular data sets will be sent to Audit Scotland.
You can find further information on Audit Scotland’s legal powers and the reason why it matches particular information here.
You can also find out how the council uses and shares your personal information on the council website.
