The fun annual event is open to everyone and is the perfect way to kick off the festive season.

You can walk or run the 5K and the event takes place from 9.30am on Sunday 1 December.

Chief Executive of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, Kay Morrison, said: "This event is always a great family fun-filled event and gets everyone in the mood for Christmas.”

Entry fees are £16 for adults (aged 16 and over), £8 for youths and juniors (5-19 years of age) and a family ticket is available for £40 (two adults and two under 16s).

Entry fees include a Santa suit and a festive medal.
