Essential Roadworks on way for B7078
Published: Monday 16 June 2025

Improvement works are to be carried out on the B7078 in Clydesdale.
The road will be closed between its junctions with the A70 and B740 from Wednesday 18 June. Work is expected to last for up to four days, weather and resources permitting.
A diversion will be in place via: B7078, A73, A70, B7078 and vice-versa
Head of Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, Colin Park, said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may occur during these essential road works.
“We would request that all road users allow additional time for all journeys which involve the use of B7078 during the period indicated and that they plan their journey accordingly.
“We are sure road users will appreciate the improvements once the work is complete.”
