Christmas and New Year message from council leader

Council Leader Joe Fagan has recorded a Christmas and New Year message for all South Lanarkshire residents.

Councillor Fagan said: "A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
“As 2025 comes to an end, there are five things we’ve been delivering this year at South Lanarkshire Council.
“We passed a Budget that boosted investment by £55 million, taking forward the East Kilbride Master Plan, investing in gyms and sports facilities and backing our workforce.
“And we’re doing it all with the lowest Council Tax in Scotland.”
