Improvements on way for A721

Improvement works are to take place on a section of the A721 in Clydesdale next week.
The A721 will be closed from 8am on Tuesday 28 April for up to two days between Harelaw roundabout and the Cleghorn Dykes Road junction.
A diversion will be in place via: A721, A70, A743, A73, A721 and vice-versa.
Head of the council’s Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, Colin Park, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience that may occur during these essential road improvement works.
“We would request that all road users allow additional time for all journeys which involve the use of the A721 during the period indicated and that they plan their journey accordingly.
“I am sure road users will appreciate the much-improved condition of the road when the works are complete and thank them for their patience.”
