The first event took place at East Kilbride Ice Rink with plenty for families and children to enjoy.

Attendees could ice skate along to a live DJ performance, enjoy face painting and arts and crafts or try their hand at podcasting.

The second event was hosted at the Hamilton Palace Sports Ground.

Football, Beat the Goalie, face painting, arts and crafts and more were on offer for free throughout the afternoon.

More than 800 people were in attendance across the two days, and both events capped off a successful Summer of Sport campaign for South Lanarkshire with a variety of free sports, family activities and coached sessions being provided to children and young people throughout the summer.
