Community sports facilities, visitor centres, leisure centres, day care centres, primary schools and many more properties are among those that will see improvements made.

Executive Director of Housing and Technical Resources, Stephen Gibson, said: “Your feedback will help us understand how the proposals could affect residents, communities, service users and local organisations.

“We want to make sure people can continue to access services easily and that any potential issues are identified before decisions are made.

“This significant investment in council infrastructure, right across the whole of South Lanarkshire, will improve the quality, accessibility, utilisation and sustainability of our estate.

“The £24 million investment will be spread over three years, with £7.29 million spent in 2026/27, £11.7 million in 2027/2028 and £5 million in 2028/2029.”
